Some of us(LBT and our supporters)got together in Kolkata and seriously considered reaching out by creating a space which is totally open platform for likeminded women {lesbians ,bisexuals and transgender} as there is a deep need of such spaces in Eastern India. This space would be democratic and progressive and will provide Psychosocial support for the well being of the individuals. The main focus areas are :  To create an friendly environment where women can feel safe regarding their orientation.  To Offer helpful reading material,audio-visual support and legal support  To boost self confidence and personality enhancement of individual  To Offer personalised counseling & group discussion to the individual and their parents if needed  To create an environment for lesbian/bisexual/transgender women to meet, interact and share their views, with the aim to give a positive feel of community and to fight the negative attitude, many have experienced from family, friends and society.
