LGBT Ungdom works for the rights of young LGBT people across Denmark, we work both politically, with social events and advisory, fx. by working in schools to prevent discrimination. We are located in Copenhagen and most of our work is done in and around the city, but we are trying hard to expand our activities to the other regions of Denmark. We are a member organization and are economically supported by our members and funding mainly from the Copenhagen Municipality. We are a part of, and work closely with LGBT Denmark. We do however believe that we have a specific job to do for the younger LGBT community and have another perspective that our "mother organization". We hope to soon be apart of the ILGA family.
