The Stichting African Gay Youth Foundation is a Community based organization that provides support to the LGBT Community of African origin living in the Netherlands.
The Foundation affirms the identities and lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of African origin and provides education, outreach, programming, program support, consultation, community development, visibility, and advocacy.
The Vision
Our vision is to affirm and support the variety of identities and interests that migrant LGBT individuals present by organizing events, peer to peer interactions, and other activities that enhance our members' well-being and celebrate their differences whether they be cultural, religious, sexual preference, or gender identity. Through many opportunities for involvement, the Foundation fosters the concept that individual identities and experiences are respected and that the unique contribution of each member is valued.
The Mission
The Foundation’s mission is to improve the social and economic integration of the African LGBT community in the Netherlands, Build the capacity of the target community by implementing programs and initiatives that directly benefit them and to challenge oppression, racism and discrimination based on gender, sexuality, race and such factors by highlighting and supporting role models within the community.

* Shout - Provide a voice to the LGBT community.
* Share - Develop networks and partnerships for the LGBT Community.
* Support - Provide advice, information and guidance to the target community.
* Store / Save - Gather and collate Information and research on issues of interest to the LGBT community.
