A warm welcome to the new European representatives to the Executive Board of ILGA

ILGA is delighted to announce that Maria Sjodin (Sweden) and Martin K. I. Christensen (Denmark) are the new European representatives to the Executive Board of ILGA and that Konstantina Konsmidou (Greece) has been elected as their alternate. Their vast experience and knowledge on LGBTI human rights issues will be extremely beneficial to ILGA and it will help the organisation in its mission of achieving equality of LGBTI people worldwide.

ILGA would also like to say goodbye and thank you to Ruth Baldacchino and Deborah Lambillotte who have completed their mandates. We are very grateful to Ruth and Deborah for the outstanding contribution and commitment in making ILGA a much stronger organisation and we look forward to continuing working with them in the future.

Maria Sjodin, Martin K.I. Christensen and Konstantina Konsmidou have been elected at the last ILGA Europe conference, that took place in Dublin 18-21 October 2012.
