A new study at the University of Western Sydney is calling on participants for a survey to uncover ‘the experiences of transgender people in Australia’. The study’s primary researcher Crystal Boza said they have opened the research’s survey to any individual over the age of 18, residing in Australia and whose gender expression differs from that usually associated with their birth sex.
“This research is expected to provide important information to broadly understand the transgender experience, and to provide information that can be used to assist in the development of best psychological practice based on the needs of the transgender community,” Boza said. Read the full story here.
